Sleep is a crucial part of human health and well-being, and according to the National Sleep Foundation, too many U.S. adults aren’t getting it.
When sleep is poor or a person tries to cut hours of sleep, serious health problems can result. The National Sleep Foundation estimates that as many as 81 percent of U.S. adults who suffer from insomnia, sleep apnea, or other sleep-robbing conditions have never been diagnosed and are therefore putting themselves and others at risk.
