Joseph Pendergast III Rated “Top Ten Attorney” in Personal Injury

By Hardwick & Pendergast, P.S. on May 16, 2018

The National Academy of Personal Injury Attorneys (NAOPIA) has once again selected Joseph Pendergast III, of Seattle law firm Hardwick & Pendergast, P.S., as one of the top 10 personal injury attorneys in the state of Washington.

2018 marks the fourth year in a row that Mr. Pendergast has received this honor. NAOPIA uses a rigorous selection process to examine thousands of attorneys across the country, and its Board of Governors hand-picks the top ten attorneys in each state or geographic region. By focusing exclusively on personal injury law, NAOPIA states that its mission is to determine the most accurate, up-to-date information that helps people find “quality legal representation.”

Prior to joining Hardwick & Pendergast, P.S., in 1998, Joseph Pendergast was a King County deputy prosecuting attorney for five years. He received his JD from University of Oregon School of Law, and his bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington. He has been heartily endorsed by his fellow attorneys and former clients for his skills in handling personal injury cases:

“I [met] J.P. at his office to partner on a catastrophic personal injury case that occurred in California where I am located…. J.P.’s clients, who he was basically turning over to me, loved him due to the manner in which they have been treated and the professionalism of his past performance for members of their church group. J.P. is a credit to his profession and a true gentleman.”

Mr. Pendergast, along with his team at Hardwick & Pendergast, P.S., has worked hard to achieve some truly impressive results for his personal injury clients. Some past notable cases include a $450,000 settlement for a client who was injured in a rear-end accident in Kent; $372,000 for a passenger in a vehicle that was struck head-on in Moses Lake, who suffered a fractured pelvis; and $225,000 for a motorcyclist who was hit by a vehicle and fractured his leg.

There’s a reason Joseph Pendergast has received a perfect 10 rating on Avvo, one of the best-known lawyer-listing website in the United States. As one former client said, “Mr. Pendergast represented me in a personal injury case and took 100% of the worry, paperwork and stress off of my plate. He handled everything and represented me well in mediation. I admire JP and would use him again in a heartbeat.”

If you have suffered serious injury in a Washington car accident, you do need a lawyer. For a free consultation with Mr. Pendergast and the team at Hardwick & Pendergast, P.S., please call (888) 228-3860.
