Hardwick & Pendergast, P.S. Celebrate 2019 Scholarship Finalists!

By Hardwick & Pendergast, P.S. on June 27, 2019

Over 1,000 students  from across the United States turned in applications for our Make Your Mark Scholarship 2019. Why “make your mark?” Because when we interact with other people throughout our lives, we can’t help but leave an impression on them. Here’s to leaving a good one.

Our Seattle personal injury law firm is offering two scholarships for $500 each: one for a local, Washington State student; the other for a student from anywhere in the United States. The local and national winner both had to tell Hardwick & Pendergast, P.S., how they intend to “make their mark” with the help of a college education, even in the smallest of ways.

In no particular order, please join us in congratulating our Washington finalists:

  • Grace H. – Selah, WA
  • Aalia R. – Lake Forest Park, WA
  • Isabella M. – Redmond, WA
  • Eden G. – Seattle, WA
  • Andrew K. – Seattle, WA

Now take a look at our nationwide contenders:

  • Leigh R. – Calabasas, CA
  • Maria K. – Plymouth, MN
  • Rea Y. – Makanda, IL
  • Danielle F. – Comstock Park, MI
  • Isabella P. – Chester Springs, PA

For their thought-provoking essays, we have named them finalists. We’ll be examining the applications again to see who left the greatest impact on our office staff. Well done, finalists! You already made an appreciable mark on us.

Have a look at our previous winners now, to see who you’ll be joining on July 11, 2019. Check back on our blog and Facebook page then to see which two students take the prize.

Once again, we thank every student who applied. Continue to think about what you can do and say to help others and make the world a kinder place – and never drive distracted. If you can make a difference to one person, the whole thing will have been worth it. Best wishes in your college career and beyond!
